Joe Zieba - President & General Contractor

Joe Zieba is a general contractor with 22 years of experience in the construction trade specializing in custom-design builds and remodels, luxury kitchen remodeling, and historic renovation. As president of Zieba Builders, Joe oversees production management and is the firm’s visionary assessing each project request, and defining the scope and contracting requirements to get the job done. An established professional contractor with a track record for success, he is known for his integrity in business and commitment to preserving the architectural design integrity of his projects.

Mr. Zieba founded Zieba Builders in 1988 and over the years, has taken it through its growth: from a sole proprietorship, to a partnership, to its present status as a corporation building a solid foundation as one of Los Angeles’ premiere general contracting firms.

As a licensed general contractor, Joe Zieba is one of the most highly qualified in his field. In addition to his proficiency as a builder, he holds a degree in civil engineering from the University of Maryland and is trained in residential architectural design and computer-aided drafting.

Joe got his start in the construction business in the late ‘70s, working alongside his father building tract homes, home improvements, and custom remodels. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree, Mr. Zieba joined an engineering firm where he worked as a structural engineer, designing and building military weapons facilities and public works projects in the South Pacific. Working closely with these regulatory agencies, he developed the expertise that is now an invaluable part of the services Zieba Builders offers.

Joe is widely known for his support of the beach communities, donating time and money to local and area fundraising events, and participating in the betterment of life in the beach communities. Married with two children, he is an ardent golfer and a sailing pro.
